Illinois Real Estate Appraisers
- To renew your Real Estate Appraiser License in the state of Illinois, you are required to complete 28 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- 7 hours of continuing education must be the USPAP course. The remaining continuing education hours may be Board approved elective credits.
- If you have been licensed for more than 1 year but less than 2 years, 14 hours of continuing education is required. You will need the 7-hour USPAP course. If you have been licensed less than a year no continuing education is required.
- Licensees must retain all original Certificates of Completion in their records. The Board will randomly audit for continuing education compliance.
